What Do You Learn How To Do After You Have Learned The Hi Lo System In Blackjack?

i have learned the hi lo system and can do it really well. What do i do next to help me count cards.

Ryan A October 6, 2009 at 10:35 am: If you don’t know how to apply the hi/lo count then you don’t know anything. Stop being a cheap bastard and buy a freaking book. You’re not going to learn how to properly count cards on yahoo answers.

I count cards on a team locally here in So Cal with my friends, and it really does help to have a character that you can use to keep the Pit Boss’ attention away from your counting.
Firstly — Never let on that you frequently play. It’s best to let everyone think you’re just getting lucky. On that note, it also helps to sit next to either an attractive woman on your left, or a loud drunk on your right. This makes the dealer pay less attention to you, personally.
Also, don’t let your bets fluctuate wildly when the count gets high. If you are betting, say, $20 a hand and when the count gets high you triple it…yeah, prepare to be 86ed after awhile.
Really what you gotta learn to do is not get caught, and it’s easier said than done.
